Libertarian Vanguard Volume 7 Number 1
Notes
- We probably should cover Donald Trump, but also need to be evenhanded about him. Many in the Libertarian Movement find things to like about him. Maybe we should have a pro and con? Our cons are obviously going to outweigh because of who we are. We should be evenhanded about this, and watch for any signs of possible improvement. ...Or degradation.
- Intended articles for the 2016 attempt were our endorsed candidates and On the Road with Adam Kokesh (before the scandal).
Cover Page
Possibly swipe the image of Caryn Ann from the 2016 prototype? Use a better quality version? Who took the photo?
Featured Article Candidates
- Vanguard:George Soros Brings it Home -- We probably need an article about Charlottesville but we really need to carefully navigate the minefield. If we can't we don't print the article. The article must be consistent with the views of everyone in the caucus who hasn't been herded into doing exactly what Soros wants. Points of conflict legitimately within the Libertarian Party and movement should be kept outside of the scope of the article. Need to create this page: Vanguard Policies. This article might fall under Worldview, especially if it dives heavily into other crap Soros is responsible for.
Additional Article Candidates
- Vanguard:Ex Post Facto IP -- Trademark, Copyright, and Mattson; could be a Vanguard Viewpoint.
Newspoint
Worldview
Movement Update
Can be about the party as well as something happening elsewhere. Our growing party numbers and hov to be compelling enough to attract more?
Issue Analysis
Vanguard Viewpoint
Possibilities
- Trademarks and the LNC
Brickbats & Bouquets
Brickbats
- Alicia Mattson has earned a brickbat for her attempt to use trademarks to halt all activities not directly authorized by the LNC -- unless this is covered in greater detail elsewhere.
Bouquets
Books
Any recent books we wish to discuss.
Vanguard Archive
Depending on how soon we can get scans from issues in 1982, 35 years ago.
Letters
As we don't have access to the final letters sent concerning the previous issue, do we have any emails sent to the Caucus that might be appropriate? Even if it's only 1 or 2?
Who We Are
This might not change much; need at least a mockup soon.
